Working process of a QT4-15 automatic block making machine

The process of block making by a QT4-15 automated block machine involves different stages that include;

1.Mixing of raw materials

Sand and gravel stored in storage bags and cement stored in cement silos are transferred into a weighing system where the right proportions are weighed. They are then conveyed into the mixer where they are mixed by the aid of rotating shafts inside the mixer to form a homogeneous mixture. This is then mixed with water from the water supply unit. This is followed by addition of specific colour pigments and then mixed for a maximum of eight minutes.

2.Moulding of the homogeneous mixture

The mixed materials making up concrete are then conveyed into a hopper and then into the block machine: https://aimixconcreteblockmachine.com/concrete-block-machine-in-pakistan/. Here, the concrete is allowed to flow into a moulding system which consists of liners that determine the final shape that the block will take. The hydraulic system by use of pressure will act on the moulding head causing the blocks to undergo compaction. After compaction, using a brush, loose materials on the blocks are removed. These are then conveyed into the pallet transfer system after which the pallet and blocks are pushed out into a curing system.

3.Curing of the moulded blocks

The blocks are then arranged in a curing rack after which they are transferred into a curing kiln that uses pressurized steam to harden the blocks. This is achieved by a controlled increase of temperature by the steam to a temperature of between 66 degrees Celsius and 85 degrees Celsius depending on the weight of the blocks. Once the required temperature is achieved, the supply of pressurized steam is inhibited allowing the blocks to dry up for a maximum of 18 hours. After drying, the blocks are removed from the curing system.

4.Cubing of dried blocks

The dried blocks inside the pallets are pushed out and the pallets are conveyed back into the pallet system to pick new blocks. The blocks are then shaped using a cubing machine after which they are stacked. A forklift will then carry the stacked blocks and transfer them into a storage unit where they are kept and await use.

Parameters considered while using a QT4-15 automatic block making machine

•The proportion of the raw materials

The raw materials should be weighed using an electric scale which will determine the right mixing proportions to obtain a quality end product. For quality blocks, the overall proportion of sand should be higher compared to that of water and gravel.

•Amount of water used

The amount of water used is important and thus before the mixing process begins, the water content of the raw materials should first be measured so that the amount of water added during mixing is adjusted according to the same.

•Curing temperatures and time

The amount of temperature required for drying the blocks should be proportional to the weight of the blocks in a fixed period of time.

Advantages of using a QT4-15 hydraulic fully automated block making machine

•The process is fully automated and thus the operational costs are greatly minimised since the number of workers and time of working is reduced.
•The use of the hydraulic system ensures efficient working process and also improves the final quality of the product.
•The machine is made using high-quality material which increases is durability and stability.
•This type of machine is adjustable as it can make different types of products depending on the moulding system and specifications of the construction.
•The use of an electrical weighing scale ensures the right proportions of raw materials which increase the quality of the final product.
•The use of the PLC system which is computerized helps in monitoring the machine working process and thus making it efficient.
